The Kingslayer

I knew before making Jaimie Lannister that he was going to be a challenge. He has armor, blonde highlights, and a distinguished face. The Kingsguard armor had to be smooth yet detailed for it to look good, the face had to be just right (specially the nose) and I had no idea how to do the highlights. I used a different technique and mixed little pieces of yellow and brown for the highlights and I think it worked. I had to do a lot of experimentation mixing the clay to get the right color. The Fimo polymer clay that is supposedly “gold” it’s a lot more orange that I like it to be. So I mixed yellow with silver and a bit of “gold” color and it came out just right. Another problem that I ran with is that the metallic clay becomes very soft, which is a challenge when trying to add details. I’m satisfied with the way it came out, I hope you like it!
